SASEBO CAMPUS
An environment where you can freely and comfortably learn while feeling the sea breeze of the 99 Islands
The Department of Business Administration/the Department of Regional Development are located in a rich environment enwrapped in light and wind, and near to Saikai National Park, which is famous due to the 99 Islands. On the campus, there is a main street overflowing with greenery, and an annex library that town residents are also allowed to use. Within the neighborhood is the Sasebo City General Sports Ground and the Matsuura Railway (MR) Station making the area very convenient for daily life.
About Sasebo City

Sasebo City, where the University of Nagasaki Siebold Campus is located, has the second largest population in Nagasaki Prefecture. There are various famous locations, such as the theme park "Huis Ten Bosch," which boasts the largest land area of all the theme parks in Japan; and the 99 Islands, Japan's most clustered archipelago. Sasebo has prospered since ancient times as a port town, and even now experiences a lively international culture due to the established American Naval Base.

The campus, which is located on top of the Manabino hills, has a strong sense of spaciousness. The school buildings, which shine in the blue sky, are beautifully lined up and show off a view of the seasons through their hydrangeas and other plants. In addition, a full range of facilities are provided, such as various practice and seminar rooms for the deepening of specialized learning. This campus is a place where you can clearly feel your growth every day.
About Nagayo / Nagasaki City

About Nagayo
University of Nagasaki Siebold Campus is located in Nishisonogi-gun, Nagayo-cho. Neighboring Nagasaki City, where the prefectural government is located, Nagayo-cho has been working towards developing itself into a town that fits the slogan of "the city where people want to live, want to continue living, and are glad they live most in Japan" since 2016. Nagayo-cho is famous for its more than 200 years of proud history as a producer of mandarin oranges, and has also recently begun the raising and harvesting of olives for the production of olive oil.
About Nagasaki City
Near to Nishisonogi-gun, Nagayo-cho, where the University of Nagasaki Siebold Campus is located, is Nagasaki City. Nagasaki City holds the largest population in the prefecture and the offices of the prefectural government. Due to the large number of Christian structures and stories of the figures in history who ushered in the end of the Tokugawa era, Nagasaki City is a place with a tangible sense of history. Furthermore, in 2012 it was named as one of the top three night views in the world, along with Hong Kong and Monaco. In addition, Philipp Franz von Siebold, the German doctor who is called "the father of modern medicine in Japan" due to his efforts of education in western medicine and biology, and for whom the University of Nagasaki Siebold Campus is named, lived in the city.

- How to get to downtown: 25 minutes by train from Matsuura Railway MR University Station (15 minutes on foot) to downtown

Finances
- About Engagement in Activities other than Those Permitted Under the Holders' Prior Status of Residence: for exchange students under the resident status of "student," a part-time job of up to 28 hours a week may be held with prior permission. (Please visit the visa page for details)
- Part-time income: income varies depending on the student, but most exchange students who hold a part-time job make between 50,000 and 80,000 yen a month.
- Part-time employment information: part-time employment information is introduced at university co-ops.
- Other: financial support (both scholarships and student loans) are available. For details, please contact the Student Support Department.
