Internationalization and Information Culture are the bywords of the 21st
Century. It is necessary that we be informed of cultures, nations, and
peoples beyond our borders in order to ensure full and meaningful communication.
The Faculty of Global Communication aims at a core of such studies.
Department of Multi-Cultural Exchange
The Department of Multi-Cultural Exchange aims to educate people versed
in the contemporary world who have a strong sense of the long history of
Nagasaki as the focal point of Japan's international relations.
Department of Info-Media
The Department of Info-Media carries on research and education in how Information
Science influences society and culture, on science and technology related
to Information, and on the production of "content" for information
dissemination.
